The Luminaries played today inside Whole Foods in Venice, CA while I was grocery shopping...

Only in Venice, California...I went the the Whole Foods Market after yoga class this afternoon, and didn't think anything of the psychedelic-painted bus in the parking lot, because that's just the way it is here in Venice. But as I was shopping for organic dog food, I heard some awesome live hip-hop over by the front of the frozen food section.

It turns out the Luminaries were playing for eco-friendly plastics, right there inside the store at the end of frozen foods. Who knew?!! I've never heard of them before, but I'd buy their music any day. Looking for it now.

I would have stayed and partied with the rest of the store, but had to get home to feed the pups. And to think I got a perfect parking space right in front, too. :~)
